Who run the world?

By Sophie Robertson

Girls.

We would say that, because at MOFILM we’re supremely proud that over two-thirds of our team are female, including our entire management team. But unfortunately it’s something that is all too rare in advertising and film.

In fact just 30% of leaders in advertising are female, whilst 17% of those who worked on the top 250 highest grossing films of last year were female.

We’re therefore delighted that one of our biggest clients is embarking on a major initiative to empower young girls around the world to achieve their goals, and we’ve been asked to document the journey using our community.

So if you’re a female filmmaker, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and show us your work, and don’t forget to set up a MOFILM profile (and keep it up to date!).

At MOFILM we’ve built an entire business on the principle of democratizing creativity and it’s our firm belief that the best ideas happen when everyone is given the same opportunity to create. Here are just a few of our favourite pieces of work from female MOFILMers that pay testament to that.

Clara Aranovich, Cvent

Bruna Gonzalez, Telefonica

Apizsara Praisin, Chevrolet

Kaenipa Phankorn, Cornetto
