Keeping Girls in Sport and STEM

Brief for:

Ideas deadline: December 9 2018, 0:00 GMT
Film deadline: February 1 2019, 0:00 GMT

Mofilm documented a week-long activation from an international car manufacturer and Premier League football club in December 2018. Girls aged between 12-14 quit sports and STEM at twice the rate of boys and so our partners wanted to do something to combat this. They took 11 girls from all over the United States to the UK to take part in a string of sport and STEM activities and workshops to give the girls life skills for them to take back home and use to stay in sport and STEM. They ranged from using technology and data to enhance their performances on the field to building bridges with intricate weights and pulley systems.
