Brief for:
Kids and parents rarely share the same interests – but sneaker culture is the exception. And while this is a shared passion, each person has their own unique perspective on why it matters to them. This year, we worked with Kids Foot Locker to give filmmakers the opportunity to showcase the most authentic and compelling documentary-style stories of real sneakerhead families who share a passion for the culture, as it has been passed from generation to generation.
For this project we sourced high level ideas from 30 different filmmakers to be shared with the team at Kids Foot Locker. The clients then selected 10 concepts to be developed into treatments, and from those treatments awarded select filmmakers.
The six filmmakers who were selected from the curated submissions were Sean Brown, Chris Arader, Joshua Traywick, Andrew Shebay, Jane Qian, and Maya Albanese.
Read the brief and send us your idea in a snappy write up or draft script. Tell us a story, and if your idea hits the mark we'll pay you to develop a treatment.
Having been shortlisted, bring your idea to life through a formal treatment that builds on your initial thinking and wows us with your creative vision.
Develop your final script and pre-production with support from our team and make a beautiful film that people want to talk about.
