DoorDash was contacted by a Dasher who had decided to go on an epic American road trip, visiting every state in the contiguous US while dashing along the way to fund his journey. The brand wanted to capture his journey in an effort to show the ease of dashing and the flexibility and perks it offers.
We were tasked with the challenge of matchmaking a filmmaker in less than 4 days, that was not only a great fit for the brand but also one that was located near Dashin’ Mike’s hometown in Wisconsin, to document his departure and prep him with a camera kit to capture his adventures on the road.
Shooting adventure on the go
Over the course of 4 months, we followed Mike on his journey and sent production crews to film him in key markets- from San Francisco to Houston- to create a series that showcased the perks of being a dasher in a cinematic way.

We used storytelling as a way to showcase the perks of dashing for potential Dashers with 6 narrative episodes and 4 UGC edits.
