Last week marked the launch of two very exciting game trailers from MOFILM supporting the launch of the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive Until Dawn; that has fans pre-ordering and gaming into the early hours attempting to steer their group to survival… Until Dawn.
Until Dawn is an ambitious game built around choice and consequence. Accordingly, we wanted to create trailers that captured the difficult decisions players would face, giving them a hint of what they would experience in the game. To tackle this project we tapped two amazing MOFILM directors, Torben Kjelstrup and Lloyd Lee Choi, whom between them have worked on an array of award winning films. Just as Until Dawn has no two paths that are the same, our directors took two unique approaches to their trailers.
Lloyd’s film is built around Robert Frost’s poem, “The Road Not Taken,” set in the middle of the woods this is a haunting piece that has already picked up Adweek’s Ad of the Day.

Torben’s film ran with the theme of choice to create an interactive game trailer. This unique spin allows viewers to get a taste of the game and actually decide how the trailer would play out if they are on a desktop browser.
