LES GRANDES ÉQUIPES….THE CHAAAAAMPIOOOONNNNNSSS!!!
It’s an anthem that will give any football fan goosebumps – particularly those lucky enough to support a team who regularly compete in Europe’s elite club football competition.
And now it‘s the soundtrack to the latest MOFILM spot for Pepsi Max, re-released to celebrate its recently announced sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League.
Directed by David Schofield from the UK, the film brings together an unlikely combination of art and freestyle football, set to the most iconic music in world football.
Shot in a disused warehouse in Bolton, Lancashiree, the setting is a far cry from the multi-million pound stadia that host Champions League matches. But the skills on show certainly rival those of Messi and co, and are captured superbly using a Phantom Flex and Black Magic with Steadicam and tracking vehicle

David shot the original film for the MOFILM Shanghai 2014 video contest, taking first place and winning $8,000 and a trip for two to Shanghai in the process. If you’re interested in creating great work for big brands too then check out our live briefs.
