Hey guys,
Hope that everyone is well and a happy Easter to you all!
You may have noticed recently that over the last couple of days we’ve been giving a bit a big up to MOFILMer Victor Mathiue’s in the works horror piece The Monster Project. While we have always been happy to support the work of the extended MOFILM family in the past, we went a little bit further this time and actually featured Victor’s film on the MOFILM homepage, right next to our hall of fame!
The reason we’ve gone that little bit extra this time round – other than wanting to see Victor’s project come to life of course! – is part of a new support program we are looking to initiate, that gives MOFILMers the chance to support their fellow filmmakers and also allow us to give us much publicity as we can to the work that you guys are involved in independently of your MOFILM projects.
We are in the process of working on a new section for the site, that will be a page dedicated to listing as many Kickstarter, IndieGo-Go, Juntobox ETC. projects as we possibly can. In addition to this we will be looking to up our support through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and our wider social channels in general.
We feel proud to be part of a great community through MOFILM and we can think of no better way to celebrate this than through actively encouraging and supporting you in the projects that our closest to your hearts. As a part of this then we would like to make a call to all our filmmakers to get in touch with us and let us know what you’re up to – whether this be personal projects, work in other capacities for friends as camera operators, editors or just advisors, indeed anything at all really! We’d love to talk to more of you through the blog via interviews or guest posts and really in general just get to know the people who make what we do possible that little bit more!
Feel free to contact us via community@MOFILM.com, blog@mofilm.com or via FB/Twitter – we promise to make sure that we get back to you and from our side do what we can to shine a light on your creativity across the board!
MOFILM could not be here without you, so this is our way of saying thank you to everyone who takes part and creates the content that we are so happy to have been able to contribute towards developing.
On that note we’ll leave you guys to enjoy the rest of your weekend and look forward to seeing what everyone is doing out there in the big bad wide world 🙂
Keep on Keeping On Brothers and Sisters – you rock!
