Cornetto Cupidity 2015 Series Launched

By MOFILM

We’re hugely excited to announce the launch of the latest Cornetto Cupidity series,  and this time we’ve taken it real.

The first film to be released is ‘Two Sides by Lorie Jo Trainor Buckingham. Not only is Two Sides a cutting edge film, combining 3D, or binaural, sound with the ability to switch between points of view of the two main characters; it has also been brought to life as an immersive theatre experience in London’s Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

Created by MOFILM in 2013, Cupidity is an exploration of teen love around the world and has picked up accolades from the advertising and film industries as well as getting over half a billion views online so far. For the third year, we wanted to push the creativity even further, incorporating technology to enhance the story and the viewers relationship to it.

As all good filmmakers know, there’s always two sides to every story. What we hear and what we then infer is often completely different. In this love story of two halves we get to witness both sides by following our protagonists’ internal monologues,  hearing all the anxiety and second-guessing that goes in to trying to break out of the friend zone.

If you’re reading this on mobile, we recommend you watch the film on the Cornetto Two Sides page.

We also highly recommend that if you are in London, that you visit the Cornetto: Beyond the Screen Experience.

Created by MOFILM and brought to life by immersive arts agency A Taste of Space, this ‘Beyond the Screen’ showing includes an interactive performance plus a choreographed song and dance show led by the actors from the film. The experience is enhanced by the use of binaural sound and a free Cornetto to enjoy during the show!

The show is on until the 2nd August 2015 and can be found on the ground floor of Westfield Stratford City, East London.
