We caught up with BP winner Brad Kettlety after the MOFILM Barcelona event to hear his thoughts about the trip
So Brad, how does it feel to be a winner at Barcelona for your amazing BP film?
BK: It feels really special to have our film selected for the BP Barcelona prize! This particular project was unique because it was allowed to be more story driven & less about a product. I think it was very brave and innovative of BP to try this type of branding.
What was the highlight of this event for you?
BK: The highlight of the event was being able to see my film with an audience. Generally my work is shared on website or mobile devices so to see it in large format with great sound was amazing. And then to see the other winners films and be able to share our production stories with other people who completely understand the process.
This is your first event. Has it whetted your appetite for more?
BK: I’m hooked & I can see there are a lot of very talented filmmakers out there so it’s also encouraged me to push harder on each project.
What did you think of the guest speaker Ruby Wax?
BK: Ruby has a uniquely awkward humor that was lost of some of the Spanish speaking audience but made it even funnier for myself!
Can you sum up your experience of Barcelona in 3 words?
BK: 15 new friends
Brad is currently working on the Arla competion for Shanghai so we look forward to the visual treat he will most certainly have in store for us. Sadly we can’t currently share his amazing BP film yet but watch this space – it wont disappoint
