All Loved up with the Lovie Awards 2013

By MOFILM

Were very excited to announce that MOFILM’s short film, Xphobia, part of the Cornetto Cupidity series, has been selected as a Finalist in the Best Writing Category for the 3rd Annual Lovie Awards. Even better you can help us win the People’s Lovie Award in that category by visiting Lovie Awards site before the 10th October 2013 and voting.

Written by 17 year-old Clara Aranovich and directed by Raul B Fernandez, Xphobia tells the tale of Marie and Ben, and how he helps her find trust again after the devastation of her parents’ recent divorce. You can watch X-Phobia and the rest of the series on the Cornetto UK YouTube channel.

MOFILM is incredibly proud of the Cupidity series; it recently it won a Creative Excellence Award at the Unilever Crafting Brands for Life Awards sitting alongside a bank of incredible work including Dove Sketches.  As a Lovie Finalist, Xphobia has been selected as one of the best in Europe in its category.

While the Academy, comprising of web industry experts, including Musician and Artist Imogen Heap, Founder of Zipcar Robin Chase, Co-founder of TechHub Mike Butcher, Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone, Actor and Presenter Stephen Fry, Founder and CEO of SoundCloud Alexander Ljung selects the Gold, Silver and Bronze Lovie Winners, every Lovie Finalist is up for a People’s Lovie Award as chosen by the voting public and we’d love your help to make us a winner on the night.
