For the fourth edition of the 2016 Academy for African Filmmakers, we caught up with Akin Omotose, one of Africa’s most internationally known filmmakers. As well as starring in large Hollywood productions, Akin is an accomplished Director and writer.
Currently in the middle of post-production on two new films, he talks about how he got started in the business. He also discusses the importance of realising that others may be learning from you at any time and that you shouldn’t stop learning at any point in your career either.
Don’t forget to visit the www.MOFILM.com/AAF to download a Unilever brief that could see you winning $5,000 (USD) plus get funding to bring your film to live and a directors fee. Not forgetting the chance to see your work broadcast.
