Gathering ideas and manifestations that can bring up good intentions and proximity between people. Aiming at the collective, respecting the differences and valuing the small-big things in life. Sending good vibes to the world. And translating these values through the most varied creative expressions.

These are the objectives of the Coletivo Centro, a Brazilian group formed by two film makers, one musician, one creative and one business administrator. As the result of shared values and interests, and the need to leverage its members' individual talents, the Coletivo Centro is a creation core first conceived in 2005 and founded in 2009 by five friends - André Saito, Cesar Nery, Fê Sztok, Pedro Henrique Fernandes and Rodrigo Pagianotto.

Created to develop work inspired by the seven arts, the Coletivo Centro have, in its first stage, came up with projects aimed more at music and cinema. In its first year, the group produced three short-films - Joâo Torrâo, for the Claro Curtas 2008, Matches, for the Youtube Cannes Young Lions 48hour Ad Contest 2009 and Américo. All three films were finalists in the competitions they took part in, and Américo gave us the honor of being selected as the global winner in the Mofilm PEPSI London Film Festival 2009.

The development and production of the film Américo is a joint work of the Coletivo Centro. The film was directed by Cesar Nery and André Saito, the group's scene directors.

There's nothing you can do that can't be done.
