Jakub Zaremba is a director and motion designer. He was born in Krakow, Poland before
moving to Australia. There, he initially studied Graphic Design before entering the
prestigious AFTRS (Australian Film School, Macquarie University, Sydney) to pursue
Directing and Digital Media. He specialised in VFX, Compositing and Film Titles.
He's spent over 10 years working professionally in Australia and Europe across film and television as an Art Director and Designer. Over the last 3 years he has been freelancing in Berlin on diverse projects ranging from motion design, video and commercials.
His films and commercial work have screened internationally winning awards in UK, US and Australia. His directing and visual style blends the unique and abstract story telling with emotive visual aesthetics. In the future he would like to pursue his career further in Film and Advertising whether in screen direction or motion graphics. He would love to establish and develop a design team that thrives on excellence and is challenged by new market brands, digital technology and ideologies. He strongly beliefs in the ideology that advertising can not only promote a product but also tell a little story and be emotive and connect to people.
