Among the latter, the International Student Shorts Award (ISSA) takes place as part of the film competition which serves to inspire and cultivate young emerging film maker talent. The Festival advocates the art of movie-making itself and seeks to encourage a diverse range of artistic talent, with a particular focus on encouraging young film makers.
