Abe Forsythe, winner of Tropfest 2010

We knew they were ones to watch when we crowned them our Grand Prize winners in Barcelona last week and we were right – filmmaking team Abe Forsythe and Matt Reeder have just been awarded first prize in the Sydney Movie Extra Tropfest short film festival.

This is a huge honour for the pair. Tropfest is the biggest short film festival in the world and an estimated 150,000 people saw the finalists. Abe and Matt get a whole host of prizes including a trip to LA to meet with agents and executives. Well done to both of them.

We’ve just given them our Grand Prize in Barcelona, but Pepsi Short Film Video Competition winners Abe Forsythe and Matt Reeder are possibly set for even greater glory this weekend.

The pair are in the final of the Movie Extra Tropfest short film festival in Sydney this weekend. The grand Australian festival is visited by 120,000 people all over the country and features sixteen finalists. Here’s good luck to you, Abe and Matt.
