Jeffrey Merrihue CEO & Co-Founder
Jeffrey began his international marketing career with RJR Nabisco in Spain in 1986. Over the course of eight years, he held marketing management positions in Canada, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Italy.
Jeffrey moved to Kellogg in 1994, where he served as Marketing director Colombia, Commercial Director Mexico / Latin America and finally, Director of European Marketing in Manchester England.
In 1998, Jeffrey joined Initiative Media as CEO and European Regional Director and founded Initiative Consulting.
In 2001 Jeffrey joined Accenture as a partner where he founded Accenture Marketing Sciences and ran the group as CEO building a group focused on digital, retail, marketing and media measurement and optimization services for the world's most important advertisers.
In September 2009, Jeffrey left Accenture to focus full time on MOFILM as CEO. Jeffrey is also European President for G100 as well as Academy
Member of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Jon Landau Chairman of the MOFILM Advisory board
Academy Award® and two-time Golden Globe® winning producer Jon Landau holds the distinction of having produced the two highest grossing movies of all-time, AVATAR and TITANIC.In addition to AVATAR and TITANIC, Landau has also produced such films as Steven Soderbergh's SOLARIS and he co-produced Warren Beatty's DICK TRACY and the family comedy hit HONEY, I SHRUNK THE KIDS. Throughout the early '90's, Landau was Executive Vice President of Feature Film Production at Twentieth Century Fox where he supervised production on all major motion pictures from Fox -- including the action packed DIE HARD 2, MRS. DOUBTFIRE, TRUE LIES, POWER RANGERS, ALIENS 3, LAST OF THE MOHICANS and more.
Landau is pro-actively working with companies and individuals throughout the entertainment industry to push technologies to new levels that will allow new stories to be told and then presented in more engaging and immersive ways.
David Alberts Chief Creative Officer
In the last twenty years David has lived on four continents and created award-winning multiplatform campaigns in over 42 countries for some of the world’s largest brands.He has successfully run Creative Agencies in Asia (twice Asian Agency and of the year) and Australia (Agency of Year) and was most recently Chairman and Creative Director of Grey London where he created the highly acclaimed
AOL Discuss campaign, a seminal campaign in multiplatform socially relevant content.
Realising the need to create greater audience engagement and the potential of ‘Connecting Companies to Causes and Causes to Cash Registers’, David founded WhatOnEarthIsGoingOn? in January 2008, partnering with MSN Worldwide to create an online socially relevant content channel.
David’s work includes National Contemporary Art Prizes, Global Film Competitions, Animation Series, Photographic Magazines, Documentaries, Short Films and a host of multiplatform campaigns for Brands like AOL, Nokia, Roche, Goldfish, HongkongBank, Telstra .
In 2011 David joined MOFILM as Chief Creative Officer overseeing all creative and strategic direction and continues to develop both short form and long form content projects across all MOFILM clients
Ken Smialek Board Member
Ken is a globally experienced Senior Operating Executive in the Consumer Branded Sector and is a key business advisor and Partner of MOFILM. The past seven years Ken has been engaged in the Consumer Brands private investment sector, focusing on a number of value creation and business transformation efforts. Ken previously enjoyed a 25 year career with the H J Heinz Co in the USA, Australia and Europe responsible for various Senior Executive Management roles.
Shibaji Ghosh President MOFILM India
Shibaji launched Mofilm in India with the first Indian competition at Goa in December 2010. Since then, Shibaji has led the Mofilm growth in India by adding new clients and establishing India as a Delivery Hub for Mofilm globally. Shibaji spent his career in large corporations like IBM, Accenture, Ericsson and Philips until he merged his passion for advertisement to his profession while spending time in Accenture Marketing Sciences with Jeffrey.
Wendy Zhang President MOFILM China
With 10 years experience in digital communication, Wendy joined MOFILM since April 2012 to lead MOFILM China presence and business in China market. In the past 5 years, Wendy had been with OgilvyOne focusing on the China digital landscape and influence on China market, crossing fields of digital innovation, social, search, mobile, content, performance marketing, retail digitalization, e-commerce, and CRM. Prior to OgilvyOne, Wendy had moved from IT industry as a marketer to work with JWT and another digital firm in digital operation management and digital marketing service.
Alex Arata President MOFILM North America
Alex is President of MOFILM – North America in charge of business development, account leadership, and strategic market development for the region.
Prior to joining MOFILM, Alex spent 5 years as a Management Consultant in the Digital Strategy group at Accenture Interactive. In this capacity, Alex worked on a broad range of digital initiatives, including strategy development, digital branding, CMS integrations, and social media execution. Alex has extensive experience working with some of the largest brands in the world across multiple industries including Food/Beverage, Financial, Entertainment and Retail. Prior to Accenture, Alex held various marketing, management and business strategy positions at The Home Depot, Puma and Cushman & Wakefield.
Alex holds an M.B.A. from Babson College and B.A. from Bowdoin College. He is based out of Boston where he lives with his wife and two boys.
Manuel Garcia Lascurain President MOFILM Latin America
Manuel has more than 20 years of experience in international marketing and advertising.
He started his career at Procter and Gamble, and afterwards he joined the advertising industry at Leo Burnett, where he took his expertise to Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and the United States.
After a brief term at MTV Latin America, Manuel led the regional Latin American marketing team for Walt Disney
Parks and Resorts, Disney Consumer Products, and Disney Video/DVD divisions where, during his eight-year tenure,
he delivered record results.
Manuel revamped the marketing department at Gigante Supermarkets in Mexico, helping to obtain significant share
of market growth. More recently he led the marketing department of Scotiabank Mexico, achieving the highest ever
awareness and consideration levels for the bank.
Manuel received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Universidad Intercontinental, and he’s been included in
the Top Ten Advertisers of the Year list by NEO magazine.
